Drier and Brulte Endorse Denham
Support Grows Inside California Congressional Delegation and Among GOP Leaders
FRESNO, CA – The announcement this afternoon that the Chairman of the California Republican Congressional Delegation, Congressman David Dreier, has endorsed Jeff Denham for Congress is further evidence that party leaders are uniting behind the popular State Senator in his campaign for Congress.
Denham's announced congressional endorsements now include Congressman Ed Royce, Congressman Kevin McCarthy, Congressman John Campbell, Congressman Wally Herger, Congressman Duncan Hunter, as well as Congressman George Radanovich and Congressman David Dreier.
Along with Congressman Dreier, former Senate and Assembly GOP Leader Jim Brulte announced his support for Denham, as did valley agricultural icon John Harris of Harris Ranch. Senator Denham announced his candidacy last week after incumbent Congressman George Radanovich made public his decision to not seek reelection and endorsed Denham.
Denham is a valley almond grower and businessman as well as a 16 year veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to running his business and farm, he has served central California in the State Senate for seven years, where he has established a record as a strong proponent for taxpayers, farmers and small business owners.
