Torrent of Endorsements Continues for Jeff Denham's Congressional Campaign
Key Tuolumne and Madera County Leaders On Board
FRESNO, CA -- The torrent of important local endorsements for Jeff Denham's campaign for Congress has increased over the last 48 hours.
Recent local endorsements from Tuolumne County include Sheriff Jim Mele, County Supervisor John Gray and County Supervisor Richard Pland. Also endorsing Jeff Denham from Tuolumne County are Sonora Council Member Bill Canning and Sonora Council Member Hank Russell.
From Madera County, Denham now has endorsements from Supervisor Frank Bigelow, Supervisor Ronn Dominici, Supervisor Tom Wheeler, Supervisor Vern Moss, Supervisor Max Rodriguez, Madera Mayor Gary Svanda, Council Member Sally Bomprezzi, Council Member Robert Poythress, Council Member Steve Mindt, Former Madera County CEO Stell Manfredi, Former Madera Supervisor Patti Manfredi, Chowchilla Mayor Jim Kopshever, Mayor Pro-Tem David Alexander, Council Member Justin White, Council Member Dennis Haworth, Council Member John Chavez and Former Chowchilla Mayor Tom Dubose.
"Tuolumne and Madera Counties are home to some of California's most historic and scenic sites as well as key areas for agriculture and natural resources," said Denham. "I have been honored to represent Madera County in the Senate and I look forward to representing the people of both these great counties in Congress and am very grateful for the warm words of support I have received since I announced my campaign last week."
Senator Denham is a conservative Republican and valley almond grower and businessman as well as a 16 year veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to running his business and farm, he has served central California in the State Senate for seven years, where he has established a record as a strong proponent for taxpayers, farmers and small business owners. He is running in the 19th congressional district with the support of the current incumbent, Congressman George Radanovich, who is not seeking reelection.
