19th District Mayors Endorse
Senator Jeff Denham for Congress

MODESTO, CA -- Senator Jeff Denham has made a clean sweep of endorsements from Mayors in the 19th district. To date, every Mayor inside the district who has made an endorsement has chosen Denham for Congress.

Sonora Mayor Ron Stearn is the latest to announce his support of Denham, adding his name to that of Modesto Mayor Jim Ridenour, Turlock Mayor John Lazar, Madera Mayor Gary Svanda, Chowchilla Mayor Jim Kopshever, Waterford Mayor Charlie Goeken and Oakdale Mayor Farrell Jackson.

"We know Jeff Denham in this district and we know what kind of representative he will be," said Modesto Mayor Jim Ridenour . "That's why so many Mayors are solidly behind Jeff in his campaign to be our next Congressman."

Senator Jeff Denham is a valley almond grower and businessman. He is the leading candidate in the 19th congressional district, currently represented by Congressman George Radanovich, who is leaving Congress at the end of his term and endorsing Denham.
